Today is the perfect day to celebrate all the beautiful, sweet, and sometimes misunderstood black cats… and we happen to have a few VERY special little stars looking for their forever homes! ✨🌙

Meet our Dwarf Planet Litter! 🪐🐾

🌷Eris — 10wk female. Mostly black with a heart shaped white patch on her chest. Loves to snuggle and play!
🌷Haumea — 14wk female. Grey tabby. She’s a slow burner and takes a while to trust. But once you’re friends, she’s a total lap kitty and enjoys chin scratches.
🌷Ceres — 12wk female. Tuxedo colored with white frosted tips on her coat. Very cool looking and an instant purr machine when you look at her.
🩵Pluto — 10wk male. Mostly black with faint white patch on his chest. INSTANT purr machine, Velcro kitty, absolute lover boy. He’s obsessed with love and pets.
🩵Makemake — 10wk male. Tuxedo with a white stripe down his face. He plays hard and sleeps harder. Loves toys and running around but also down for a good snuggle session.

These little ones are super social, loving, litter-box trained, and have completed their first vaccines. They are ready to leave their orbit and find families of their own! 🏡❤️

We will be CLOSED this Thursday, July 9th so that we can attend Dr. Fredenhagen’s Celebration of Life.
Dr. Fred was our former owner and beloved colleague but more than that- he was family.
We understand it may be an inconvenience but we will be closed all day to honor his legacy and pay our respects.
His family truly appreciates the outpouring of love and well wishes that they have received.
We appreciate your understanding!

To Our Kingsley Animal Hospital Family-

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our former owner and veterinarian, Dr. Thomas Fredenhagen, passed away early this morning at the age of 76.
Together Dr. Fredenhagen (affectionately nicknamed Dr. Fred) and his wife Karen owned the practice and forged long-lasting relationships with their patients for over 25 years. Dr. Fred always advocated for the health and longevity of pets as individuals and transformed clients into family members. It’s impossible to put into words how lucky we are to have known him and the immeasurable loss we feel.
Please keep his wife, family, and many beloved pets in your thoughts as they transition into this new phase of life.

Celebration of life for Dr. Fred will be Thursday, July 9th at 11:00am at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home. Address: 11801 San Jose Blvd.

Well in case you were wondering, it’s officially Kitten Season!
We have kittens who are in need of loving homes!
Orphan Annie, 4-5week old black female. Dumped on our doorstep with her two brothers. Well her brothers were adopted and she was so pitiful and lonely so we added her into another litter we had.
Eugene, 6-7 week old buff male. Completely unphased by everything, just wants to cuddle with you and eat. What a life!
Walnut, 6-7 week old brown tabby female. Playful and agile! She also enjoys showing off her spotted belly.
