Annual Health and Safety Education with Dr. Wyatt Price

Last week we had our annual Health and Safety meeting with Dr. Wyatt Price from Black Creek Vet! Boy, he is really smart. He walked us through everything that we need to be aware of when caring for dogs. Now the whole staff is much better equipped to take care of God’s most amazing animals! Thank you Dr. Wyatt and all our vets next door, we (and the dogs) are so grateful to have your help and expertise.

On Sunday, June 15th, Happy Father’s Day to all human Dads AND dog Dads!

Those are clearly two different things, but at Poochie’s Park we are able to celebrate both, so why not!?

On Father’s Day, human Dads AND dog Dads get in free to the Dog Park from 9am to 5pm. Come and enjoy a day of Classic Rock from the stage with your four legged kids in the dog park!

Employee and Daycare Dog of the Month!

Congratulations Jasper!

Jasper is one of our daycare rock stars! This guy has got energy for days and gets the whole crew pumped! You’ll usually catch him as a zoomie blur tearing it up in the yards! But he always makes time for his human friends, with a quick hello on the fly!

Next up, Congratulations to the employee of the month, Aaliyah!

Aaliyah is one of our behind-the-scenes stars! Her position as Guide allows her love for the dogs to shine as bright as the sun and her dedication keeps our facility running smoothly! You’ll often find her, and her loyal sidekick, Zuka, multitasking like pros to make sure every pup is having the best day ever! Thank you, Aaliyah!

The sweetest little butterfly boy came for a Spa day today! Papillons are just one of the many breeds we take care of here at Poochie’s Park. Come check out our wonderful grooming department where your dog will be pampered and loved like family!

WE WON! Thank you to all that voted, this makes 7 years in a row! Our goal is to be the best we can be and winning this is quite the honor for our whole staff that puts in a lot of hard work for the pups every day. We are gonna celebrate this with a staff party soon. Besides the hard working staff, we have made a ton of improvements to our kennel area and the play yards and we would love to show them off to you. Next time you're in please ask for a tour! Between the hours of 9 and 6 is best but we'll get you in anyway if you can't come during those times. See you at Poochies!

Employee and Daycare Dog of the Month!

Congratulations The Bybee's; Diamond, Sally, & Big Red!

Sally, Diamond & Big Red have been coming to Poochie's for a few months now. These sweet girls are love-bugs through and through. We have loved seeing them grow in confidence, and find Poochie's to be their home away from home. They have found their people here; dogs and humans alike! There is nothing like them coming up to you with their sheepish smile and inviting tail wag. We love these girls as our own!

How did they win? Every month they are added to a list that the staff gets to vote on!

What did they win? They won a Free Day of DayCamp and an Official Certificate to hang proudly on the mantle!

Margo is one of our exceptional Office Masters! Although she’s still fairly new to the Poochie’s family, she’s already doing a fantastic job! Her kind tone and sweet smile are winning over everyone, dogs and humans alike. She’s a hard worker who stepped right up and stood out from the start, and we’re so grateful to have her on the team!

REMIDER - This Sunday ---- It’s our first Puppy Palooza! The brainchild of one of the managers, Joanna, this is for only puppies around 3 to 6 months old that are ready to learn socialization in a safe and FUN environment! It will be held in our separate 2-acre Private VIP Rental area that has lots of grass, seats, playhouses and a dock overlooking the beautiful swimming pond! Play time supervision will be provided by our Lil’ Scouts Trainers that can also give tips to new puppy parents with questions. Plus, all in attendance will receive a free first day of DayCamp coupon! The cost is $15 for one dog ($10 for additional dogs from same family). *If you have older dogs then bring someone with you to take them to the dog park since only puppies will be allowed to the private party area*.

The Great Easter Bone A Tail Wagging Success!

The annual Great Easter Bone Hunt was a fun party! Dogs hunted in the field for over 500 treat filled eggs throughout the day. Volunteers helped out tremendously, thank you! Our food and drink vendors provided the guests with deliciousness. We also had a raffle that raised money and resulted in some excited winners of Poochie prizes.
