We understand that the safety of raw feeding has become a growing concern for many, and we want to ensure that you are well-informed about our practices and those of the industry.

When choosing a raw food company, it’s crucial to select one that sources exclusively from USDA-inspected farms and, ideally, produces food in USDA facilities. This commitment helps mitigate the risk of outbreaks and contamination.

At Rawsome, we share this commitment. Operating out of California—where a significant number of outbreaks have occurred—we are taking extra precautions in our sourcing by partnering with farms we have used and trust.

Currently, there is no batch testing for H5N1 in the available meat production. We are in regular contact with our testing facility and will inform you as soon as such testing becomes available. It's important to note that farmers are equally invested in maintaining their flocks' health; if even one bird tests positive, the entire flock is destroyed, which is a costly decision for them. Rest assured, birds are tested before harvesting to uphold these standards.

We have something very exciting coming to our online store, available for both shipping and pickup! I was introduced to this incredible company by a customer with whom I’ve been collaborating to develop a working/sport raw food blend that not only helps maintain weight for their dogs but also supports muscle building and recovery.

Happy New Year's Eve! 🎉🥳 I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for such an incredible year. We have experienced tremendous growth, and it's all thanks to our amazing manufacturer and your unwavering support. Although we didn't accomplish everything we set out to do in 2023, I believe I deserve a little break considering I've also become a first-time mom and the sole owner of Rawsome. Balancing the demands of running a business, attending to customers and orders, and caring for my newborn and now teething 8-month-old has been one of the toughest challenges I've faced on this journey so far.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for continuing to trust us to provide the highest quality food for your fur babies. Sometimes I feel like I don't talk about how amazing our food truly is. One of my biggest struggles is showcasing our brand and the exceptional quality of our products. There are so many other great companies out there, and I often find myself doubting our own growth and comparing it to others. However, I want to remind you that Rawsome will be celebrating its 7th anniversary in March, and until last March, I personally made every batch of food. The idea of scaling up seemed daunting at first because I was already producing so much. But this year, we are determined to take huge strides in highlighting the quality and sourcing of our products, as well as offering a behind-the-scenes look at our manufacturing process and equipment. We are also excited to introduce new labels and, hopefully, new packaging.

The holiday season can be a whirlwind, but it's essential to remember to order your pet's food on time to avoid any delays in receiving it. We want to make sure your furry friend has everything they need during this busy time. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend placing your pet food orders in advance, taking into account any possible shipping delays that may occur during this period. If you have any questions or need assistance with the ordering process, feel free to reach out. Wishing you and your pet a joyful and stress-free holiday season!

To make sure your pet's food arrives before Thanksgiving week, it's crucial to place your orders by this Friday, the 10th. Since there won't be any shipping during the week of Thanksgiving, orders placed after the 10th may experience delays until shipping resumes on the 27th.

For December, orders need to be placed before the 15th to arrive before Christmas. Only Zone 1 shipping areas will resume on January 2nd, all other zones will resume on January 8th.
