By now most horse owners have heard of the Equine Herpes virus-1 outbreak and how virulent it is, killing a number of infected horses in Texas. Although there have been no cited cases in Arizona, we hare going to take an abundance of precaution and not allow any outside horses in our facility for the time being and request our clients to keep their horses on-site. Sorry for the inconvenience to anyone but we want to keep everyone safe. Thanks for your understanding.

Looking for barn staff/apprentice at Seventy Seven Equestrian center in Oracle Arizona
Full time
Can be one person or a couple that split duties.
If it’s a couple that splits duties, then it will be part time, with extra work offered sometimes.
Has to be self motivated, manage time and tasks well, pay attention to details.
Duties include
-Feeding
-Cleaning stalls
-Turning out horses
-Cleaning and filling up water
-Maintaining barns and grounds
-Dragging arenas when needed

We prefer someone that wants to be long term and interested in learning to train horses and to manage an Equestrian facility.

You have an opportunity to work with professional trainers, our own horses are Lusitanos and Andalusians, but we have a big variety of horses here, from a mule, quarter horses, warm bloods to gaited horses. Our training style is French classical dressage and we also train for working equitation.
For the right person it can turn into a riding and training position in the future.
Housing provided, pay depending on experience
