While our specialty is in performance horses, we strongly believe that a great start to both horse and rider is critical in any discipline. We offer many options in training and lessons from beginner and c**t starting to competition ready focus. As the founder has spent many years studying the

nature of both horses and people, Arizona Performance Horses takes a natural approach to training. Utilizing natural horsemanship of herd mentality as well as therapeutic riding in lessons leads to a well-rounded and successful partnership between horse and rider. Words can't express how happy and thankful I am to this amazing group of people! It was certainly a challenging series with plenty of ups and downs life throws at us but everyone came out better than they started! Congratulations to everyone that put in the work during this series!

Thank you Seven Peaks for the amazing round pen for our new training facility! We are blown away by the quality of this mustang edition round pen. We look forward to continuing our relationship with you as we continue to grow!

This weekend was sure busy with building the new training facility! We were able to start drilling and filling concrete for the barn. Along with of course continuing to get the grade JUST RIGHT for the new covered square pen and stalls to ensure proper drainage. Hopefully next weekend we will be able to start erecting the barn to meet our goal of being on site by October! Big thanks to Ted, Brooklynn and William for their help. We even saw some more visitors on the property.

We had a very interesting day yesterday!

Our beloved Rosie who is in foal woke up completing covered in sever hives. We are still unsure as to the cause of this event. We are suspicious though of possible fly bites as Rosie previously breaks out in minor hives a handful of times a year though never to this extent! We are wondering if being pregnant just increased the severity of this reaction.

After a vet visit for blood work and some fetal safe allergy medications she is improving though still has some slight swelling of her face.

We are very thankful for Dr. Autum and Dr. Lindsey at Jackpot for treating Rosie with all the love and quick response they continue to show us!

We survived a fun day at the vet with Rocky and Nova! Rocky and Nova both got their general check up along with fall shots. Nova also got a full workup to ensure no physical pain or discomfort including teeth floated, chiropractor and full lameness/ injury exam to ensure she is ready to enter full time training with me to start her new life in our program. Nova did also get some sedation to have her teeth floated and certainly took full advantage of the affects as she decided to take a little snooze while resting on her lead rope🤣

We are happy both received a clean bill of health!
