Beautiful Paxton is a Harvard's graduate! Paxton is a 2-yr-old, female, Australian Shepherd that attended our In Kennel training. Aussies are loyal, energetic and intelligent dogs. Paxton did amazing learning all her basic obedience commands and was a delight to board.

RALLY CLASSES: We will be having Rally Classes this year with a start date of Friday, November 7th. Classes are once a week for six weeks and the cost is $180. There will be two class levels: one for beginner foundation and the other at the level to compete. Rally is described as a class between competition obedience and agility. If you are interested in joining, I need your name, your dog's name, what class level the dog is at and a contact number. Eager to please Labrador Retrievers are friendly, energetic, playful and make for a good family pet. Gus is a 1-yr-old, male, lab who attended our In Kennel training. Gus did exceptional learning all of his basic obedience commands and was great to board.

Looking for a job where you can have fun with your four legged friends?
If you are interested in the pet care industry this job is for you. Harvard's K9 Center is looking for a kennel assistant. We will teach you about dog behavior, how to care for dogs, properly learn how to hand walk dogs and pick up on training techniques.
The job includes cleaning runs, bathing dogs, walking dogs to exercise yards, having fun with dogs on playtimes, teaching dogs how to swim, scooping lots of p**p and some yard work.
Job Description:
* Work 25 - 30 hours per week including weekends
* Handle and walk dogs of all sizes.
* Have patience with dogs and people.
* Clean dog runs.
* Work in an outdoor environment.
* Do some yard maintenance.
* Able to multi-task.

GROUP BASIC OBEDIENCE TRAINING: Our next Group Class begins this coming Tuesday, October 21st at 6:30 p.m. EST. This is a 6-week course and costs $180. Classes are held in the evening, and you come once a week. The group class is a "lifetime membership". The same owner and same dog can take a refresher group class without paying again. Golden Retrievers are friendly, loyal, eager to please pups that make good family pets. Lola is a 1-yr-old, female, Golden Retriever that completed our In Kennel training. Lola learned all her basic obedience commands, was trained in tandem and went swimming during her stay. She did wonderful learning all her commands and was delightful to board.

AGILITY CLASSES: Our agility classes will tentatively begin this year on October 8th and 9th. Classes will run consecutively until the end of May. Classes are held on Wednesday and Thursday nights either at 6:30 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. EST. We have three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Competition. Class size is limited to between 6 and 8 people. At this time, I cannot tell you what day/time your class would be. We get everyone who is interested and set up the classes according to which level your dog is at. Classes are once a week for six weeks and the cost is $180. Your dog needs to be at least 1-yr-old and know their basic obedience commands before they can begin group class agility.
