๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŽ† Want your dog to enjoy the fireworks like this?? Fireworks can be fun for us, but frightening for our pets! ๐ŸŽ†๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

If your dog or cat gets anxious during fireworks, don't wait until the last minute to make a plan. The Fourth of July is one of the busiest times of the year for lost and frightened pets, but a little preparation can help keep them safe and comfortable.

Here are a few helpful tips:
๐Ÿพ Keep pets indoors in a secure, quiet room.
๐Ÿพ Close blinds and curtains to reduce flashes and outside noise.
๐Ÿพ Turn on the TV, a fan, or calming music to help mask the sound.
๐Ÿพ Make sure collars, ID tags, and microchip information are up to date.
๐Ÿพ Never take pets to fireworks displays.
๐Ÿพ If your pet has been prescribed noise aversion or anti-anxiety medication, give it as directedโ€”many medications work best when given before the fireworks start.

If your pet struggles with loud noises, Countryside Veterinary Clinic can help! We offer noise aversion and anti-anxiety medications to help make the holiday less stressful for your furry family members.

๐Ÿ“ž Call us today at 334-749-1212 to discuss the best option for your pet before the holiday.

From all of us at Countryside Veterinary Clinic, we wish you and your pets a safe, happy, and stress-free Fourth of July! โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ

***update all puppies have been adopted- THANK YOU to everyone who shared--

3-8-26 update 3 puppies still need help along with our 9 month old returned lab mix as well----sadly we cannot keep these babies forever- they are so sweet and need help urgently!!!!

***3/3/26 WE STILL NEED FOSTERS OR ADOPTERS. Thank you so much for the shares and comments, but no one has came forward to foster or adopt the remaining babies. There are still 2 at the clinic and 2 still waiting for rescue at the house. They are running out of time with limited kennel space coming up***

**update 2-27-26
The white/cream female and chocolate/white female are at the clinic now and the solid chocolate male and black/white female are still at the house** Please contact us by phone if interested in setting up a meet and greet 334-749-1212**

We were only able to take in TWO of these babiesโ€ฆ but there are still THREE more left behind and they need help NOW.
They do not have secured homes. They are not safe long-term. And time is not on their side.
-~5 weeks old lab/pit/aussie mix

If you can:
โ€ข Adopt
โ€ข Foster temporarily
โ€ข Help find a rescue
โ€ข Or even just SHARE this post
You could literally save a life.
Please contact the clinic immediately if you can help in any way. Even one share could reach the right person.

Letโ€™s not let these babies slip through the cracks. ๐Ÿพ
