The duo. ❤️
Ms. Ava and Mr. Richard were previous clients of mine and seeing them again has altered my chemistry.
Last time I seen these babies was easily 2 years ago... maybe alittle less. The difference is uncanny.
Ms. Ava is now salt and peppered on her face.
Mr. Richard has grown up.
Ms. Ava has a few trigger spots for grooming, unlike before.
Mr. Richard has calmed down and learned to enjoy the groom.
It reminds me that as a groomer, we are only in these pets lives for a tiny fraction of it. A very small fraction of their lives. However, the impact we have on their grooming experience sticks. The impact of our kindness and love and patience sticks with them.
After all this time of not seeing these two, I can honesty say, Ive never seen anypup (besides my own) light up as much as Ava and Richard did seeing me. It can be they are excitable around people, but I like to believe part of it was they remembered me. Enough to wiggle with joy and the yip as we talked and got kisses while grooming.
