We wanted to tell you a little bit about one of our newer arrivals… FIGARO

***He is not available***

Fig is a male Aussie Doodle. He came to us as an owner surrender. He came in very shut down, under socialized and terrified.

We have been working with him for several weeks and we are making slow progress. When he came Into the shelter he would jump back as we approached, push himself into the corner if we tried to pet him, and run away when we would walk towards him.

He is starting to trust…we can now pet him(inside his kennel, he’s still more scared outside). He LOVES our dog coordinator Becca and will follow her everywhere, give her kisses and climb onto her lap. We are hoping to be able to groom him soon but don’t want to traumatize him.

He has heterochromia(a multi colored eye). He is gorgeous! He is such a sweet boy we cannot wait for the day he comes out of his shell and is ready for his new life.

In the meantime we will continue to love him, earn his trust and build his confidence.

HOSS has been adopted!

His new mom came to the shelter to visit the cats and happened to see Hoss out in the yard playing. It was love at first sight. She knew he belonged with her.

His new mom and dad came to visit him several times over the next week. They couldn’t wait for the day they would take him home.

Hoss now lives in the country where he has plenty of room to run and play. His favorite thing is riding in the car with his head out the window. He sleeps in a soft bed, takes daily adventures with his new family and enjoys every single day of his new life.

We are so happy for them all.
Happy Tails Hoss we love you 😘

We have some great news to start off your Wednesday morning 😊

PEPPER has been ADOPTED!

His new mom and dad came to meet him and just knew he would make the perfect addition to their family.

Pepper absolutely adores his new humans. When we were bringing him out he took off on a full run down the hallway into his new dad’s arms 🥰. His new mom had to work on pickup day but he was so excited to see her when she got home, he greeted her at the door with a happy tail wag, full body wiggles and kisses.

Pepper loves water and now lives along the lake where he can swim everyday, take long walks and play. He even had his first pup cup!

We are so happy for them all.
Happy Tails PEPPER we love you 😘
