🚨ARC urgently needs fosters for seven 3-day old puppies! 6 male puppies and one female puppy were brought in today. Can you step up to care for them? They will require bottle feeding. We recognize that a litter of seven is tough to manage - these puppies can be split into pairs and a group of three.

If you or someone you know can foster them, please contact us immediately! Even if you can't help right now, we always welcome help with getting the word out.

📣Gather round because puppy school is in session! 🐾

We've had some puppies head to foster and forever homes lately! We wanted to share a resource on a topic that is important to consider when caring for a puppy. 🐶

First, separation anxiety is a serious condition that often requires behavioral and veterinary intervention and is extremely challenging for dog guardians to navigate.

However, it is normal for puppies to feel a little nervous in their new home. They are used to being in the company of their littermates, mothers, or other dogs and often struggle with the experience of learning to be alone for the first time, especially in a new environment.

🚨ARC needs fosters for underage (under 8 weeks old) kittens and puppies! Two 6-week-old puppies and four 2-day-old kittens are most urgently needing to secure foster families.

However, we have several other underage kittens & puppies that could also benefit from the quiet and comfort of a foster home.

🚨 Help us identify this horse! He was found running along the 60 freeway 😮! He’s an Andalusian and about 10 years old. Our Animal Services Officer shared that he’s a sweet boy and was very affectionate and gentle.

👋Meet Maple🍁! This baby has been at ARC for almost two months. She came in when she was about 4 months old and has been growing up in her kennel😢.

She’s a sweet girl that loves belly rubs, pets, and is always wagging her tail. She was recently returned for being a puppy. Can you believe that? Help us to find her a foster or forever home!
