Slyvester is having a really hard time with this heat....besides fans in the coop, having the hose run in the pools for about 15 to 20 every hour or so or a sprinkler, shade and i also have the sprinkler on timer to cool the grass. Anyone have any other suggestions? He isn't getting into any size pool anymore or any of the tubs. The basement is about the coolest place but I can't have him in there alone for several days. With my work schedule its hard to let him in and out. (If only the basment had a doggy door...lol)

My apologies for not posting as much this year. I will admit and my closest know that I have pretty much shut down, jist going through the motions. Coops are being sold, fencing is down. One pen of birds left...so very very weird. Worried about Slyvester this heat has not been good for him. Either way...the last of Sebastopols that will hatch at my current residents.
House has gone to auction...not sure what's in store for ne yet...but I will come back. I will also always be here for questions and guidance.

▫️(Pending) 1- 10x10 welded wire $100. $150 if you want the roof. Must assist with tear down
▫️(Pending)1- aprox 10x15ish unknown material (I call it Fort Knox. $100 had metal sheet roof $150 for whole thing. Must assist with tear down.
-Water buckets and gravity waters
-Heated water buckets
-Feeders, all kinds rubber, trough style
-Fencing 2-4 ft welded wire. Not sure of how many feet...most in decent shape to good. May need mended.
-Fence post (red rebar type, too many to count) $1.50 each (currently 2.50 at TSC)
-T post (various lengths) some have holes drilled in the top to attach snaps that held my sun shades up.
-incubator GQF sportsman- $400
-3 genisis 1588 table tops- $75-100

All kinda of feeders & waterers,brooder box and baby gates for brooder area, heat lamps, and I'm sure there is more. I have a lot of organizing and listing to do. *Prices will vary*

I am also asking for help to clean and organize/sort/pack things to list my house on the market

*****Update****everyone is pending and I have a vehicle again. Thank you all.
I still have
2-gray goslings
1-white gosling
1-gray gander

Need them moved out ASAP.
Pickup or live transport through an approved transporter.

I need a vehicle like yesterday...so all the monies are going towards that at the current time.

Please be mindful that the remaining flock will be at fcfs, also that I would like to be able to get back into it once my life comes back to complete.

These birds have never seen a pond, have always been cooped at night, and not more then one gander per pen.

I also will probably be dispering of supplies from incubators, fencing, post, pools, buckets, dog kennels, etc....

I have made a decision that 100% utterly breaks my heart. Due to extenuating circumstances I have decided to part with my last 2 pair of Sebastopols.
I will not be able to offer transport nor will I ship via postal or other box service.
Preferably to go as pairs, as I don't have the ability to keep singles happy.

I have pair of white
Gander "Fluff" 2020 hatch amazing temperament, has done well at shows and a good breeder with some great gentics from Karen MacPherson and Becky Weaver behind him. His girl friend "Yellow band" with some great lineage as well.
Her parents were Fiona and Shrek and have albums in my photos.

Then 1 pair of gray. The Blue hen originated from Barb Rudolph Lines and has amazing quality. The gray gander has some great gentics as well and purchased from Charla Lamb 2 years ago. His name is smokey.

I also have 1 gray gosling about 6 weeks old vent sexed male and 1 white gosling about 5 weeks old that are available.

Please remember these are of great gentics and many years of hard work and dedication. Prices will reflect this. I also ask please don't ask a million questions about my circumstances this is being hard enough.

This is a very hard thing for me to do.
I am reaching out to all my friends and family to ask for help to save not only my home but my passion of my Eastwinds Sebastopols. If you know me that's not easy for me to do.
As some may know and some may not know the last year has been a pretty rough year, actually let's back that up even further. Seems like the last many years have been rough, but this last year has litterly beat me down.
I am officially physically, mentally and emotionally drained.
Short story that so many of you know, we lost mom due to complications from many years on dialysis in Jan of 2022, then April of 2022 dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. That led to other scans and later we found out that there was a 2nd cancer, liver cancer. Stage 4.
Now see, my dad lived for my mom. He busted his ass to make sure she was always taken care of and finally retired from 40ish years of truck driving in October of 22 at the rip age of 76 with 1.5 million miles under his belt from his last employer of 12 years.

Also for those of you that don't know I was a CNA of almost 20 years and my back decided it was time for it to give out on me in Jan of 2021. I had not worked in close to 4 years besides caregiver for mom and dad and running the house.

Dad joined mom in July of 2024, their house was deeded to me. Also left to me was dad's truck, and all the household expenses to include a mortgage and truck payments. Dad and I lived off his Social Security and VA benefits. Those stopped immediately. I was never approved as a caregiver for dad until the week before he passed. I have also applied for SSDI, which is in it multiple appeal status.
I did finally find work in December, starting part time and now full time. Here is where I am at... the truck was repossessed 2 weeks ago. That I am okay with besides the inconvenience of no wheels. Trust me they wanted way to much to pay it off.
Now the house is in foreclosure status, I am trying to find any assistance to help with it. The unfortunate part is the mortgage is still listed in both mom and dad's name and I have not had long enough back to work for building credit back up to do a restructuring or quality for any assistance with it. Friends, this is 8 acers with under 50,000 left on it..this has been mom and dad's since 2002, this has been my home my safe haven since 2011, this is also a legacy of Eastwinds Sebastopols and so many other things.

So today I am reaching out and reaching out for anything to help me. My goal is 9500 to save the house and take out of the foreclosure status.
This was a VA backed mortgage originally and I know there are different stipulations for those.
