Five years ago, when I started South Fork Springers, I knew the day would come when I’d have to write this post. It’s hard to believe that day has finally come. I graduate in just over a month and leave for college in the fall. With that being said, I will be taking a step back from breeding - at least until after college (puppies on a college campus would be a bit too crazy 🤪). Now, just because I’m taking a step back from breeding doesn’t mean I’m done with Springers. They will always be my heart breed. I may try to share some updates of our dogs as I’m able. And I would love to feature some of our past puppies more. We will ALWAYS want updates of our past puppies and will also always be there to support our puppy families, that will never change. So please keep sharing updates, they always make our whole family’s day.
I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support of South Fork Springers. I started SFS as a twelve year old who was completely new to the dog and breeding world. Despite this, the support I received was overwhelming. First and foremost, I just want to give the thanks to God for truly blessing me on this journey and blessing South Fork Springers more than I could ever have imagined. I also want to thank my parents for allowing me the opportunity to do this and for supporting me the whole way. I am so blessed to have such amazing parents that were willing to rework their lives around the dogs schedules, to let me take over the basement and garage for months at a time, to lend a hand whenever I needed one, for driving me across the country to get puppies (multiple times), for offering support and guidance, for putting up with having way more dogs than they ever planned, and so much more. Second, I want to thank the other breeders that gave me advice, support, encouragement, and friendship throughout my time breeding. I met so many great people in this breed and I am so grateful for that. Next, I want to thank each and every one of our amazing puppy families. Thank you for trusting us for finding your new family members. Each one of these families becomes like family to us and we live for every update we get. I may be biased but I have to say I think we have the best puppy families any breeder could ask for. And last but definitely not least, I want to thank everyone else who supported me on this journey. It may seem small to you but every single follow, like, comment, share, telling someone about us, message, etc meant so much to us. We could not have done it without each and every one of you! 💕
Thank you,
