A fun update from Candy. . I miss her sweet face and silly antics everyday but it makes my heart happy that she is just as loved and spoiled with her retirement family and friends.

"So they had a contest here at Mom ❤️‘s assisted-living and this is what Candy received.
Out of about 50 dogs she got Best and most well-behaved"

Mona's chonky boys are 4 weeks old and ready to rumble. This is my favorite age, so akward and adorable. Not to mention mom is still cleaning up after them. 😂

Another reason why at Spottadachs we genetic test our breeding dogs both for inheritable genetic defects but also for color genetics so we know without the shadow of a doubt we will never produce homozygous merles/ dapples or dilutes that may carry CDA.

Responsible, ethical breeders will never purposely breed two dapple dogs together. This is why: this puppy was born blind, likely with no eyes at all or micro eyes that do not function. This puppy’s pattern is called “double dapple” and is a huge red flag!

Ranger's first litters are starting to arrive. He has not disappointed!
Mona Lisa and Ranger had 3 beautiful boys I suspect will all be long hair but we still have a little bit until we can tell.

Ginger and Annie seem to approve of the newly installed moon gate. I am sure as soon as Angel discovers it she will perch on top. She loves to look down on everyone from her throne.
