Our incredible vet assistant, Caitlin, has officially started vet tech school, and we couldn’t be prouder! 🎉🐾On top of that, we have TWO other vet assistants in tech school! 🤩

Licensed veterinary technicians (LVT) play a vital role in veterinary medicine - providing expert patient care, assisting doctors in surgeries, performing lab work, completing dental cleanings, and so much more. Having highly-trained veterinary technicians strengthens our clinic, ensures excellent patient care, and supports our doctor in giving pets the best treatment possible.

Please help Haggis get the word out! A pet microchip company has closed without warning, meaning pet owners may need to re-register their pet's chip with another company. Pet owners should check that chip information is up to date by scheduling an appointment with their primary veterinarian or asking a rescue if they can assist with scanning the chip. 🐾 Growing to Serve You Better! 🏗️

We’re nearing the end of Phase II of our clinic expansion! 🎉 This exciting progress means were almost to Phase III - the last phase! Soon we will be able to care for even more pets and their families. However, during this transition, our appointment capacity has been temporarily affected, and we’ve had to reschedule some visits.

A huge thank you to Duke and his family for their patience and kindness in rescheduling his dental appointment! 🦷🐶 Their support, along with all of our amazing clients, is what makes this growth possible.

🐾 Exciting News from Good Samaritan Pet Doctor! 🏗️

We’ve officially entered the second phase of our clinic expansion! This project will roughly double our clinic space and allow us to serve even more pets and their families in the future. 👏 However, during this transition, it’s temporarily impacting our appointment capacity, and we’ve had to reschedule some appointments.

A big shoutout to Boji (pictured here) and his wonderful family for being so patient with us during this time. ❤️ Their understanding and support, along with that of our entire community, makes this growth possible and way less stressful. 🥰

"Meet Freddie! 🐾 This brave kitty found himself in a tricky situation after ingesting a string, also known as a linear foreign body. The string had traveled halfway into his colon while still extending back into his small intestine. Typically, cases like this require an incision in the colon, which can lead to a more complicated recovery.

Our doctor was able to guide the foreign body through his intestines and out of his re**um without needing to make any surgical incisions to the colon! 👏

Foreign body surgeries can often be costly, but by focusing on delivering quality care at an affordable price, we’ve been able to save countless lives - just like Freddie. Recovery can now begin for this sweet boy! 💕🐱

🎉 Today we’re celebrating Sarah. Well, that’s me - I’m Sarah! 👋 😆 I am the operations lead and the creative behind our socials! 🐾✨ It’s been two amazing years since I joined Good Samaritan Pet Doctor, and I am extremely grateful for my role.

I love that every day brings new challenges, the joy of contributing to saving pets’ lives, finding ways to make our clinic run even more smoothly, and just loving on each and every pet. The icing on the cake? Working alongside some of the best humans out there! 💖
