Parents- Your 14 year-old child has zero business riding one of these electric motorcycles on a roadway. CAT was patrolling the area of 156th & State Street after several complaints, and deputies observed a juvenile riding down 156th Street attempting to stand up on the seat. The juvenile was stopped, his parent was cited, and the electric motorcycle was impounded.
To be clear, these are illegal on main roads, side roads, neighborhoods, and even sidewalks. The excuse of how much money you spent on it doesn't negate the child's lack of riding skills and ability to negotiate traffic.
