Would you know what to do in a pet emergency?

Every second counts when a dog or cat experiences cardiac or respiratory arrest. April 22nd is Pet CPR Day, a reminder of how vital it is to be prepared with life-saving skills.

💡 What is Pet CPR?
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for pets involves chest compressions and rescue breathing to help restore circulation and breathing in emergencies. It's a critical skill that can buy precious time until veterinary care is available.

🎯 On April 22nd, we encourage all pet parents, veterinary professionals, and animal lovers to:
- Learn or refresh pet CPR and first aid skills
- Take a certified pet CPR class (in person or online)
- Share resources to spread awareness in your community

Being prepared can make all the difference — for both dogs and cats. 🐶🐱

Let’s honor the love we have for our pets by learning how to protect their lives when it matters most.
