Happy June to all!!!

First things first- plants. I still have tomatoes and a couple jalapeños. The tomatoes are all beef steak. What is not claimed by this week will have to be composted.

There is 1 black eyed Susan vine left. It’s blooming but needs out of the pot to go on and live its best life. ( for those unfamiliar with black eyed Susan vines, they are annuals but quite showy and grow up a trellis like it’s their job!!)

We have eggs!!! And rhubarb!

Tomato plants! Yes, I still have tomato plants. I had an order that was never picked up ( nor paid for) so these plants have got to go! Free today and over the weekend. Let’s get these tomatoes into the ground!!

Hey friends! Anyone want some milk kefir grains? I have an excess and would love to share a couple tbsp of grains with someone who would like to try their hand at making home made milk kefir. There are lots of YouTube videos on the specifics complete with recipes and tricks and, I promise, it’s easy, doesn’t require any special equipment and takes just a few minutes per day to maintain and produce wonderful kefir! Message me if you want to pick up grains!!

Hey all! Happy May Day! I have gotten a couple messages asking about planting. All I can say is that there are not freezing temps, per my weather app, for the next 10 days. Not even frighteningly close. I will also say that I am planting pots first, bringing a few houseplants out that can tolerate the cooler nights or can be placed in warm spots, so tomatoes, peppers etc in the garden will prob be next week.

So, tldr, yep. I’m planting. And I am the founding member and president of the “plant early, plant often club”. Do what makes you happy and no kicking yourself later.

Microgreens next week in VERY limited amounts. ( if you have talked to me about greens lately I gotcha down😉) spicy salad, Rambo radish and red Russian kale.

Available next week or so will be more asparagus, rhubarb and lettuces.

Also, I HAVE EGGS!! Still $4/doz.

Remember to eat your greens, with eggs and kefir!!
