This adorable little fighter recently faced a medical issue that temporarily delayed his adoption, but we’re happy to share that he’s made a full recovery and is now looking for his forever family!
At just 6 ½ weeks old, he experienced a re**al prolapse. It was caught immediately, and he was rushed to the emergency vet where he received prompt and successful surgical care. Thanks to the amazing medical team and his own strength, he recovered beautifully!
The support stitch used during his healing was removed 10 days later with no complications. All of his lab work came back normal, and he tested clear of any parasites that could have contributed to the issue. While the exact cause is unknown, the vet shared that it may have been related to constipation or minor trauma from rough play with littermates.
💛 He is just over 8 weeks old and, he is healthy, playful, spunky, and cleared by the vet to go to his new home! He’s a strong, resilient pup with a heart full of love, ready to bring joy and happiness to the right family.
