Meet Milo🐾🖤

A big, brindle boy full of love! Milo is approximately 4 years old. Neutered, chipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is kennel and crate trained. 😉

Milo is another dog from the recent intake we just did. His past may be uncertain, but what we do know, is that he loves people, food, walks in the rain or on sunny days, and hugs. 🥹

🚨 URGENT 🚨 Running out of time!!

This sweet girl needs a foster or a adopter!!! Imagine being a happy, playful girl who loves life, other dogs, and spending time with people… only to find yourself confined to a shelter kennel, day after day, with no understanding of why you’re there or when you’ll get out.

That’s Midna’s reality, and it’s breaking her spirit. 💔

Some dogs simply cannot cope with shelter life. The constant stress, confinement, and overwhelming environment can cause them to deteriorate emotionally and behaviorally until they’re almost unrecognizable from the dogs they once were.

And that’s exactly what’s happening to Midna.

But here’s what we know about the REAL Midna:

🐾 She’s energetic, playful, and LOVES playing ball!

🐾 She’s dog-friendly and loves having another dog to play with! (No cats!)

🐾 She’s been introduced to children and has done well.

🐾 She’s comfortable sleeping in a crate at night.

🐾 She’s nearly completely potty trained.

Midna recently spent a month in a temporary foster home, giving everyone a chance to see her personality outside the stressful shelter environment. And what a difference it made! She showed just how happy, social, and wonderful she can be when given the opportunity to simply be a dog.

Unfortunately, she’s back in the shelter, and the stress is once again taking its toll.

Her time is running out. 💔

🐾 STELLA IS OFFICIALLY A MAMA! 💜🐶

Remember sweet Stella, the pregnant mama we rescued and introduced you to recently? Well, we have some bittersweet but beautiful news to share!

Stella gave birth to 6️⃣ precious puppies. Sadly, one little angel didn't make it, but her five surviving babies are now receiving lots of love and care alongside their mama in their wonderful foster home. 🌈 💕

Thanks to her incredible foster family, Stella and her babies are receiving all the love and care they deserve. But one of her tiny girls has had a particularly difficult start to life.

💜 Meet Heartster, our little fighter.

Heartster was born with an issue affecting how her mouth and tongue function, making it difficult for her to latch onto mama and nurse properly. Within hours of being born, she needed emergency veterinary care to give her the best possible chance at survival.

Thankfully, we have some encouraging news! Heartster made it through the night and has started taking small amounts of formula from a bottle! She’s not out of the woods yet, but we’re celebrating every little victory. 💜

Her dedicated caregivers are working around the clock to keep her fed, comfortable, and growing stronger, with hopes that she’ll eventually be able to nurse from Stella.

HOW CAN YOU HELP? 🐾

Between unexpected emergency veterinary expenses, puppy formula, bottles, and the ongoing needs of a mama and five newborn puppies, caring for this little family has come with some unexpected expenses.

🤎 MEET BILLY | FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED! 🐾

Currently located in Olympia, Washington, Billy is a handsome, approximately 4-year-old, 55-pound brindle boy who’s ready to find his forever family!

Billy and his brother were rescued from a high-kill California shelter, where both were facing euthanasia due to overcrowding. His brother has since been adopted, and now we’re hoping Billy gets his happily ever after, too!

Billy is the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his people. Give him a hug, kiss that handsome head, and tell him he’s a good boy, and you’ve pretty much made his entire day! 🤎

And trust us, this handsome boy has a whole lot going for him!

A little about Billy’s journey…

Billy and his brother were rescued from a high-kill shelter in California, where both boys were on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Thankfully, they were given a second chance! His brother has since been adopted, and now we’re hoping to find Billy a wonderful family of his own.

While we don’t know everything about his past, Billy is still learning that he doesn’t have to worry about being left behind. He experiences some mild separation anxiety and would benefit from a patient, understanding family who can help him build confidence, continue working on his house manners, and feel secure.

He’s not a huge fan of the crate just yet, but with patience and positive reinforcement, we believe he can make progress.

Billy doesn’t need perfection. He just needs someone willing to love him, guide him, and show him what forever really means. 🤎

And something tells us he’ll return that love tenfold!
