If you’re gonna hire a dog trainer, follow the program.
Do the drills. Use the leash and tools they give you.
The results come from consistency — not from a single session.
Don’t spend money on training if you won’t actually train.

Before you correct the barking and lunging, you rebuild the connection.
Slow down the walk. Get the dog focused on YOU.
Once the connection is there, the reactivity melts away.

Most separation anxiety starts with the way you walk out the door.
Keep the goodbye emotionless and put your dog in a kennel 10–15 minutes before you leave.
Calm energy teaches them you leaving is no big deal.
