General Boarding Info:
For boarding at our Olney location, we offer 3 different run types. Our peaceful is an indoor 5x5ft run for $34/night, our indoor/outdoor playful run is 5x5ft air conditioned inside run with an additional attached 5x6ft outdoor enclosure that they can go in and out of as they please through a doggy door, which we do shut them inside at night, and it is $40/night. We also have our PAWSidential suite for $47/night and is an 8x10 foot run with a tv in the room and is closest to our essential diffuser. We also offer an 8x10ft Private Rusty’s Racers Suite that has couches and a TV that is its own room separate from our boarding hall that some owners prefer for their older dogs, deaf dogs, etc for $50/night. If you have more than 1 dog, and would like them in the same run, each additional dog in the same run is $10 off the original price. Example: 2 dogs in our peaceful run would be $58/night, first dog being the original price of $34/night, second dog is $10 off at $24/night, totaling $58/night for 2 dogs in a peaceful run. If you have more than 1 dog, and would like them to stay in separate runs, they will each be the original price of the run you choose for them to stay in. No matter what run type you choose for them to stay in, they will be let outside in our fenced in yards for 10-15 minutes, (that time span depending on weather) 5-6 times daily. We do offer a free Welcome activity on their arrival day to ease anxiety right away and help them to get comfortable. You can choose from a treat filled snuffle mat, or a peanut butter stuffed kong for them to enjoy! We also offer private activities that vary in pricing, as well as playcare with other dogs!
We require the dogs to be brought in on leash and collar, and their food. If they run out of food, we do have house chow (Wholesome - Lamb Meal & Rice) to feed them for a charge of $6 per day per dog. You can bring toys or bedding if you would like, we just have a disclaimer that they may not return in the same condition, as some dogs tend to chew more when they are here. If you choose not to bring bedding, we do supply it here as well. If they are chewing on it, we will take it out of their run for safety reasons. We do not use owner bowls, as we have so many bowls here, we don't want them to get mixed into our own when washing and lost or broken.
We do REQUIRE the dog to be up to date on Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper. The ONLY exception is if the dog is under 16 weeks, it cannot receive Rabies yet, but it should have at least 1-3 rounds of distemper, and the Bordetella Vaccine, as they are old enough for these as soon as they are weaned! However, if it is 16 weeks or older, it must have all three vaccines up to date. We recommend getting the bordetella vaccine as soon as possible, to help them build immunity. 72hrs prior to boarding is the minimum, but 2 weeks is recommended! If you have a record of all 3 vaccines, you can take a photo and send it to us on facebook messenger, our email, or our fax number! If not, you can call your vet and have them email or fax us the record at [email protected], or 618-202-5575.
Monday-Friday drop off/pick up hours are 7am-11:30am or 3pm-5:30pm. We are closed from 12pm-3pm. Saturday drop off/pick up hours are 8am-11:30am. Sunday drop off/pick up hours are 5pm-6:30pm.
For Holiday boarding, we do NOT have open business hours on Thanksgiving or Christmas, so drop off would be the day before or after. There are staff members here on these holidays to care for your pets, we just are not open for business.
We do have a cancellation policy as well. If you cancel 72hrs ahead, there is no charge. If you cancel within 72-24hrs, there's a 1 night stay charge, and anything less than 24hrs or no show is a full stay charge. We do make courtesy cancellations in certain cases. If there is anything that this message did not cover, or you have any questions, please let us know!
