Hey followers. Just a heads up. TSHTC mow has a waiting list to come in. All stalls are full and there are also no more pasture slots available. For the first time since purchasing the property, we are full. A big thank you to everyone for that. Because there are a couple of for sale horses here now, fall openings are possible. Looking for a nice show horse? check in with us, there are some really nice ones. All very suited for the amateur rider.

Sorry to take a while to report on our great show at AHA Region 9 Championships. Just lots going on here. As most of you know, it was a great show for all despite having a rainy start. As usual, the Will Rogers Equestrian Center in Fort Worth was well groomed, well staffed, and clean. The upgrades and renovations are mostly done and the whole complex shone with a renewed brightness. The biggest news was Alan rode his horse Pi (Zells Pi Cyclone) for the first time in the show arena. What a sign of success! Pi went from a promising c**t to a horse on the edge that was saved by generous donations to his vet fund and finally to being in the show arena under saddle. The other horses all also had great showings. Sierra (Sierras Gold Rush V), Symphony (Symphony JM), and Max (Maximus) all come home with big wins and placings. The total was 2 Championships, 3 reserve championships and numerous top 5's for all. Watch for Pi in both the Western Dressage arena and the Ranch arena. And keep an eye out for Max in the Dressage arena. A big thank you to Lance for letting us buy this promising young man. Sierra and Symphony will continue to be beautiful in the Halter arenas this year, but watch for Sierra to make an under saddle debut next year.

To those affected by the weather in Wichita Falls, Runaway Bay, and the surrounding areas April 25, 26 and onward:
I have 8+ horse stalls, pens etc. if you are in need of a safe place to stash your horse while repairing barns and fences. Some are turn out pens without covers but are safe and have water to them. I also have pasture available for horses and cattle. Health certs and Coggins are required. In Olney, TX. DM for details.

Looking again for barn help. Pay plus living quarters. Opportunity to build your business. Pet, partner allowed. Board for 1 horse. Clean stalls, do turn outs, help feed, ride. Last person here used me as a spring board to bigger ranch. DM if interested.

Things have been crazy busy here at TSHTC. It all got silly when we had our whole and total winter in just 2 weeks! Yup, it went from sunny and mild to below freezing with enough wind to ground airliners to sort of ok. But, despite a water leak and a few other things that had to be repaired (still finishing repairs on the house roof), we got through. Symphony did well at Scottsdale and came home. A new face came to the facility named Max. Just wait until you see him. (A thank you to Pat McGinnis for this.) And a new face in the barn too. More about that later. So hopefully spring has sprung and we are done with winter. Watch for us at shows in the region this year.
