🏆🐾 Three cheers for Milo and Tina, winners of The Sophie Award!

At each Olean Kennel Club Scent Work trial, we have the special honor of presenting The Regina and James Van Scoy Perpetual Scent Work Trophy, affectionately known as The Sophie.

Unlike awards based on qualifying scores or placements, The Sophie celebrates something at the very heart of scent work: the incredible bond and teamwork between a dog and their handler.

Chosen by our judges, this award recognizes a Novice team that exemplifies exceptional teamwork throughout the trial weekend. It’s not about being perfect or qualifying in every search. It’s about the partnership, trust, and connection that make this sport so special.

Please join us in congratulating Team Milo on this wonderful recognition! We love celebrating the special relationships that make scent work so rewarding. ❤️🐾
