Wow where has the time gone!! This summer has flown by and I’ve been horrible about updates. We got some cement pad additions being done finally which has been a struggle to string 2-3 days in a row without rain but luckily finally getting it done!! Crops are looking phenomenal we have been lucky so far and missed the bad weather and haven’t been drowned either by massive rains. The calves have been weaned for a bit and they are big!!! I’m so excited to watch this group of bulls and heifers develop. Keep your eyes out for updates on replacement heifers that will be available for sale this fall and for the future yearling bulls that will be available this winter!!

We all know in the cattle business there are stressful days that are tough on the body and mind but then there’s days like this where your just coming to check on the bred heifers to see how they are looking and all those stressful days are just forgotten. The calves around here know what a bunk is long before weaning time they are getting big and are ready for grass as much as I’m ready to get rid of them 😂

Got another project done the other weekend!!! Always feels good to get freeze branding out of the way we have been doing this for years on our heifers. Now we look forward to start breeding season!!!!

Just want to thank everyone for this past weekend at our open house!! From all my family that helped with phone bids to all the customers that bid on bulls. We were fortunate enough to sell every bull on Saturday which is the 1st time we have done that since starting our own private treaty sale!! Not sure how else to say it but thank you!! We hope everyone else has a good calving season ahead and make sure to keep us in mind for next year with any bull or heifer needs.

Just a reminder our open house is today!!! From 11-2 it’s a little windy and cold but we will have a place to warm up with food and hot drinks so come check out the bulls!!!
