Evening all!
Wanted to take a minute and let everyone know we still have eggs! The wind storm last week knocked over our farm stand and broke a few eggs but that won’t stop the ducks from laying! Just counted out and racked a new batch to put at the end of the drive way for anyone looking for farm fresh duck eggs! 17 dozen with more coming every day!

🦆🥚 INTRODUCING THE GIRLS!!! 🥚🦆

They have actomated into the flock so well and now they all have names, jewelry, and so much personality.

April - the leader of the triplets and she will let you know

May - the sweat one that love to sing and dance, yes she really dances with hops and skips.

June - a girly who reaches for all the treats so sweet and gently.

Frenchy - oh she's sassy and starting to run the flock but definitely has an awkward hammy side.

Toast - a toasty sunbathing girl who like to adventure through the yard.

Rose - the cutest little waddler in the yard and just wants attention

Sweet Pea - the snack hound she'll find every big leave and treat we have for everyone.

Honey - the decevingly sweet duck with a Houdini complex. She has sufficiently gotten out of every enclosure now.

Beer - named after our favorite beer “a beer named duck” she a duck named beer and so chill but likes to sing… loudly

An excitingly uneventful introduction! We love it when smooth transitions happen. All the girls are part of the flock now and happy waddling around the yard.

We love a good quiet end to a day. Sitting all together and notice pest patrol is out hit and heavy tonight. After all the thunderstorms and rain today the yard was swarming with dragonflies and the ducks not far behind.
It might take a second but the flashes of black and white are the huge dragonflies all over our lawn.

We are starting to beat the heat which means the girls are laying again and it’s almost time to start up the oven for our next round of treats. Stay tuned for the line up!

Well… we are sold out of everything and we did a thing.

Our girls are definitely feeling this heatwave and I’m not turning on the oven until it’s back down to 80°. So we will post again once we are stocked with eggs and treats.

ITRODUCING THE NEW GIRLIES!!! 🦆
We adopted and brought home 9 of the sweetest girls ever that have immediately bonded with our flock. We now have 3 runner ducks and 6 khaki Campbells joining us. Spending time with them today they all have names now and soon will earn their jewelry and tags on the wall! So without further ado…
