Many working and high-energy dogs were bred to have a job, and when they don't have an appropriate outlet for their energy, intelligence, and instincts, they often create their own. ๐

That's why our solo and group adventure hikes are such a great fit for many active dogs on the CT Shoreline.
These hikes provide so much more than exercise:
๐ Consistent physical activity that helps burn excess energy
๐ Positive social experiences with carefully matched canine friends (if in group settings)
๐ Mental enrichment through new sights, scents, terrain, and environments
๐ A predictable routine that helps dogs feel balanced and fulfilled
For dogs bred to herd, retrieve, track, hunt, or work alongside people, exploring trails and engaging with the world around them can be an incredibly rewarding experience.
To help dogs build friendships and enjoy consistency, participation at least twice per week is required for placement in a hiking group.
If your dog loves adventure, fresh air, and spending time with compatible canine companions, our Group Adventure Hikes may quickly become their favorite part of the week! ๐๐พ
