The Fourth of July weekend is almost here! If your pet experiences anxiety during fireworks, please contact us as soon as possible to request prescription medications. We're here to help make the holiday as safe and stress-free as possible.
With extreme heat also expected this weekend, please remember to:
🐾 Keep pets indoors during the hottest part of the day.
🐾 Provide plenty of fresh, cool water at all times.
🐾 Walk dogs during the early morning or evening when temperatures are lower.
🐾 Never leave a pet in a parked vehicle—even for a few minutes.
🐾 Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse.

Animal House Mobile Pet Grooming is not taking new clients until possibly late fall 2026. I will be closed from July 17th until the middle or end of August 2026. I will contact current clients who have appointments during this time period to be moved to a later date in September to October. Thank you for your patience while I deal with appointments, surgery and recovery. 💕

As you enjoy the summer temps, please do right by the best friend who depends on you the most. Remember: a pet in a parked car, even with the windows open, can quickly overheat and die on a warm day.

If you see an animal in distress in someone’s car, call 911 immediately and try to find the owner. If you cannot find the owner immediately, and you are still waiting for first responders and the animal seems to be in grave condition, state law allows you to break the car window or make entry to save the pet’s life.
