Snowy Days Grooming will be taking appointments for Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8/21 when Dr. Jen goes back to teach for the 2018 fall semester. At that point Snowy Days will be closing permanently. Appointments are now full through 6/28 but there are a few days open in July! Snowy Days Also gained 2 new Champions this weekend - Angus and Luna❤️

Snowy Days will be open with limited grooming hours June - August Tuesdays and Thursdays. The clippers will be ready for all those summer puppy cuts (that is if it ever warms up here in cold snowy Old Forge!) 🐶

It’s been one busy year for grooming up here and I thank you for your support! I will be splitting my time in Old Forge every week with Friday’s through Sundays in Buffalo. Next summer it will be every other week. Please book your appointments at least a week in advance so I can continue to do get all my regulars done😊 I will no longer be advertising in the papers, but this page will be available on FB. Thank you everyone!!!

Here are some great dogs Snowy Days groomed this summer! We will be open all year and have appointments available! Below you will see Mac the Scottie who's owner wanted a very short puppy cut, then Cooper who's owner wanted a longer puppy cut as she loves his curls, Morgan the Westies mom wanted her face cut way down, and Charlie the Labradoodle whose owners wanted his "poodle" curls cut way back. We try to accommodate all our customers wishes as long as the dogs that come to us are manageable. When completely matted down shaving is usually the best option.

Poodle Folks - this summer I have seen 4-5 poodles from TX, FL, Buffalo Rochester, etc that have come to me with matted curls beyond repair that a pick, comb or razor could not get through. Pet poodle Folks - if you can't get your fingers through the curls after you pick up your dog from the groomer they are not grooming them - they are trimming the matted curls which makes it impossible to get through for the next groomer. I had a good example of how a pet poodle should be after a groom and though I would post some pictures. Here is Jada who's coat was managed and easy to trim, brush and shave through. This is an excellent example of how the short pet coat should be maintained...
