We are people teachers. Training dogs not only takes knowing all about how dogs think, learn and the background and science of dog behavior. It involves learning how to help the other side of the leash truly understand their dog. We pride ourselves on knowing both of those aspects and helping you and your dog have a great relationship. sical and mental needs are being met can be frustrating and stressful at times. We help make that easier on you by focusing on the family dog. Everyone has a lot going on in life, and we help you set realistic goals that meet your dogs needs as well as your family dynamic. We are different from other trainers because we focus on finding out what motivates and rewards your dog (and you!) and we train using fun and kind methods. No two dogs or owners are alike, this is not cookie cutter training. You get a dog to have a companion and have fun with them. We do not want your dog to be a robot or perfect. Guess what? Your dog doesn't even need to sit! We want for your dog to be comfortable in their environment, be able to focus on you and help work thru the unwanted behaviors. ROC Summer Camp 2026

Make memories with your dog this summer through adventure, enrichment, practical training, water fun, games, themed camp activities, and nightly crafts.

Each 1.5 hour class includes real-life training skills, confidence building, enrichment activities, and a fun take-home craft in a structured small-group setting.

Week 1 — Camp Confidence
Week 2 — Sniffari Camp
Week 3 — Splash Camp
Week 4 — Camp Games & Cookout

$60 per class
$225 prepaid for all 4 classes

July Session — Thursday Evenings, 4 classes
August Session — Saturday Evenings, 4 classes

Dogs will work individually throughout class in a structured and supportive environment. This is not a dog play group and dogs will remain on leash unless otherwise instructed.

Class size is limited to 6 dogs per session. Full series enrollments receive priority registration. Individual class spots will be opened based on availability.

Something fun is coming this summer !

Think summer camp, but for dogs and their people.

We’ll be mixing real-life training with:
🌲 Sniffing & exploring
💦 Water games
🐾 Confidence building
🎯 Practical obedience skills
🔥 Campfire nights
🎨 Fun crafts & enrichment

This is not a traditional obedience class and it’s definitely not a dog play group. It’s structured summer fun focused on building confidence, engagement, and adventure skills in a small group setting.

Basic Manners starting soon!

This is a 6-week small group class focused on real-life obedience, communication, and everyday manners for dogs 4 months and older.

Monday, June 15th at 7pm
South East OKC
$200

This class is designed for owners who want more than just “sit for a treat.” We work on practical skills that actually matter in daily life while helping dogs learn how to focus, communicate, and exist calmly around distractions.

Perfect for:
• Jumping and over excitement
• Pulling on leash
• Lack of focus
• General manners and structure
• Building foundations for real-world life

What makes this class different is that it is not a cookie-cutter obedience program. Every dog learns differently, and training is adjusted to the individual dog in front of us while still keeping clear structure and expectations.

This class is best for friendly dogs needing foundations and manners. Dogs with significant aggression or reactivity may need private training before joining a group setting.

People sometimes imagine Board & Train as dogs doing obedience drills all day long. But real-life training actually happens in the little moments throughout the day.

At ROC Animal Training, dogs live alongside me and my family on our property while we work on building real-world skills, structure, confidence, and routines.

A typical day may include:
• Structured training sessions
• Outdoor exploration and play
• Rest and decompression time
• Practicing manners during daily routines
• Leash skills and impulse control
• Learning how to settle while life happens
• Helping with chores around the homestead
• Confidence building in new environments

Training doesn’t only happen during a 20-minute session. Some of the biggest learning moments happen during potty breaks, meal times, transitions, and everyday life. I call these unstructured learning times.

The goal isn’t just obedience. It’s helping create a dog that can successfully live with their family in the real world.

This is one reason I keep my programs small and personalized. Dogs aren’t sitting in kennels all day waiting for their turn to train. They’re actively learning how to exist in daily life.
