We just launched a t-shirt and it comes with a message we really believe in:

I wear deet and my dogs are on prevention but I don't ever recall ticks being this bad last year!

I researched what I could be doing before outings. I came across Wondercide. What a crazy comparison that speaks for itself. We walked the same trail. Their needle nose tweezers make tick checks so much easier too!!

Today, We explored Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge.

We stopped in every puddle but unfortunately I couldn't find access to the river. The cliffs were too steep to even attempt.

At Oklahoma Humane Society, there are dogs and cats who are in-between foster homes. While they are housed at the Intake Facility, we want their days to be filled with more than just waiting. So we created a sensory garden designed just for them

We’ve planted a mix of herbs, veggies, and flowers like basil, spearmint, lavender, marigolds, and even bell peppers and tomatoes....all safe, enriching, and exciting for curious noses. We also added a brick scent wall, where treats can be tucked into little spaces for dogs to sniff out and discover.

For dogs in a shelter environment, enrichment like this can make a huge difference. It helps reduce stress, supports mental stimulation, and allows them to just be dogs for a little while.

If you’d like to be a part of this project, please reach out! We would love to continue growing this space together and making it even more special for the dogs. While the cats can't come outside, we will bring sprigs inside for them. We are on a mission to find catnip to plant!
