This is a breakdown of my Ct scan from today, through AI. I am so very thankful β€οΈππ
Stephanie, this is excellent news from your PET/CT scan. Hereβs a breakdown of what your results mean in plain terms:
---
π¬ Summary of the PET/CT Results (Aug 4, 2025)
β
1. Breast and Lymph Nodes (Axillary Region)
"The previous hypermetabolic left breast mass and left axillary mass normalized."
Translation: The areas that used to βlight upβ (indicating active cancer cells) are now showing no signs of abnormal activity.
Your left breast tumor and the lymph node in your left armpit (axilla) have responded very well to chemo.
𦴠2. Bone Marrow Activity
"Diffusely increased bone marrow activity...commonly associated with reaction to chemotherapy or response to marrow stimulating agents."
This is not a sign of cancer β itβs a typical and expected response after chemo, or from the injection you get after chemo (like Neulasta or similar), which helps your white blood cells recover.
Because your bone marrow is reacting to treatment, it makes it harder to evaluate the bones clearly for spread (metastasis), but no new suspicious activity is seen.
π§ 3. Head, Neck, and Brain
"No definite focal abnormal FDG activity"
Translation: Nothing abnormal seen in the brain or neck area β all clear.
β€οΈ 4. Chest and Lungs
"No hypermetabolic foci... No hypermetabolic pulmonary nodules... No hypermetabolic lymphadenopathy"
Translation: Your lungs, heart area (mediastinum), and lymph nodes in your chest all look normal.
π½οΈ 5. Abdomen and Pelvis
Normal physiologic activity noted β liver, spleen, kidneys, bowel, and bladder all behaving normally with no abnormal signs.

π¬ Final Takeaways
The chemo is working beautifully.
No signs of active cancer in the breast, lymph nodes, or major organs.
Bone marrow looks active because of chemo, not because of cancer.
The previously active spot in your T11 spine is no longer lighting up, which is very encouraging.
