Shop update from Terry’s!
We’ve hit some big milestones this week!
The new offices and showroom now have sheetrock up, and you can finally see the rooms coming together. It’s starting to feel less like a construction site and more like our place.
Over in the back, the tannery walls are up and finished— this is an exciting addition to our business that will let us handle even more work in-house, with efficiency and quality control than ever before.
It’s been a lot of hard work, but every step gets us closer to opening the doors and showing you all the newly added on space here at Terry’s Taxidermy.
Thank you for cheering us on—we can’t wait to have you stop by and see it for yourself when it’s done!

Absolutely stunning Ocellated Turkey, the colors on this bird look straight out of a painting! From the shimmering blues and greens to the gold-tipped feathers, every angle catches light in a way that makes you stop and stare!
These birds are rare, exotic, and beyond beautiful. Preserving that natural iridescence takes precision, patience, and the right touch.
This mount is proof of why the ocellated is considered one of the Crown Jewels in any upland hunter’s collection.

Double Firsts, Double the Bragging Rights.
Huge congratulations two of our hunters, Jayson Lane and Jacob Newman on two impressive kills!
Jayson, snagging his first-ever elk—and not just any elk… a massive, fully velveted bull!
Even better? This beauty is the first elk of the season brought into Terry’s Taxidermy. What a way to kick things off!
If that wasn’t impressive enough, Jacob also dropped his first personal fallow, and came fully velveted too! Just beautiful.
Clean start to what’s shaping up to be an awesome season!
We’re honored to help preserve the story behind these trophies and can’t wait to bring them to life on the mount!

Hunter Education covers a variety of topics including hunting safety, hunter responsibility, wildlife identification, wildlife conservation and management, survival, archery and muzzleloading.
***Students under the age of 10 can sit through the class but will not be able to take the test and get their certification. These students do not need to register to attend a class.

Big progress on the new shop, we have walls and a roof!
What started as a slab has now taken serious shape. It's exciting to finally see the space come to life, one board and beam at a time.
