Okanogan Valley Veterinary Clinic dates back to 1947 when it was founded by Dr. M.L.Ledgerwood and was operated by him for thirty years in a very small converted house that sat in what is now the parking lot of the current clinic. In 1977 the practice was purchased by Dr. Gary Lesamiz who has served the area's veterinary needs for nearly thirty-five years. Currently the practice is limited to the
care of dogs and cats, but for over twenty-five years, Dr. Lesamiz, his associates and his staff, worked with dogs, cats, horses and cows, with clients from Oroville to Mansfield and Coulee Dam to Winthrop. OVVC offers a very high level of services including internal medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, radiology, state of the art anesthesia, diagnostic ultrasound, in house laboratory equipment, dentistry and dental X-rays. The clinic also offers heated and air conditioned dog and cat boarding in a variety of veterinary supervised formats.
