Updated availability. Also,I am requiring confirmation for pending bookings the first week of June. If you are wait listed, this will not apply. I will also contact each person directly. As there is a wait-list, I will be requesting a deposit at the time of confirmation. This will be a non refundable deposit of 25% of the total fee. This little guy, Henry, is such a sweetheart! My approach with new animals is never fixed, but the key components are being 100% present, listening and observing so that they feel seen and heard. They also check me to see if I am trustworthy. This means I have to be present, aware, calm, confident. They know that if they have an accident, I won't get mad and direct anger at them. They know that I trust their signals when they show what they are ok or not ok with. They know on a walk that they don't have to be anxious and aggressive because I've got their back, and I'll step in, and I don't force them to socialize when they feel uncomfortable. When trust is formed, they can be playful and they can completely relax. And that's the goal, to create a space for them to feel that way. 💖🐕

Henry, a rescue. His first owner was a man, some mental issues, they lived in a car. This is his third home, and he's changed from anxious, aggressive, to playful, happy and calm. He still gets startled and may snap, but that's normal. Safety is the first most important step. Once he knows it's safe and he won't be hurt, he starts to first relax, and that's the body recovering from being in constant activation in fight or flight. A lot of resting. And then, naturally, playfulness comes after trust. The same process in happens for people. He's fortunate to have a good home now🙏🏻😊💖

Reggie and Ollie, so sweet! They were instantly friendly and trusting. Both have free reign outdoors in a rural area. I love being with animals that have this freedom because they are so self-assured, confident, calm. Their natural intelligence just shines. And they're content. No anxiety. No aggression. Love it 💖😊
