Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

As we look back on the year and remember what we are truly greatful for I wanted to share my horse and the passion he inspired.
His name was Bocar Ibn Sutra. He was a beautiful Arabian Arab gelding that did anything asked of him and kept me safe while on the road… (his backyard was a different matter😅) He was my best teacher.
One summer in 2001 we had a huge storm where the lightning sounded like it was hitting the ground right outside my bedroom. The next morning I came out to find Bocar could not put any weight on his front left leg. He would literally rock back to his hind legs and swing his leg forward to walk. We had 4 vets come out to see him, 3 of them told me he was a lost cause and to put him down so he didnt suffer, but Charley Litskey told me to try massage… I went into our local feed store, Longhorn feed and Gene had a book on physical therapy and massage so I grabbed it and started that day. One week later he was walking almost normally again.
A month later he was sound! I will forever be greatful to Dr Litskey, for not only helping Bocar but for helping me start my passion for massage. How amazing is it that with massage I could save my best friend and if it was like that for me how many more can I help ❤️

Inspiration sometimes comes in times of trial and grief, so let your triumph be your inspiration!
