Huge congratulations to Christian, Indian Rock, Adrienne Lyle and the whole team for this amazing debut! To top it off, on Sunday, this pair scored a whooping 78% in the GP Special! I am so excited to be a witness of it all and can’t wait to watch them progress even further.

Saying good bye to my fellow judges (Susan Graham, Robin Birk, and Kristi Wysocki) and long time NJ friends (Lisa Basselini, Karin Worm, Katarina Antens Miller and Amanda , a new friend) from Dressage At Devon. This is the 50th anniversary of DAD and the largest sport horse breed show ever. Such a pleasure to see and judge so many outstanding horses followed by a very fun reunion with former students, all of whom are FEI level competitors. I am so proud of them. Then, seeing horses from my former SWB Breeding produced through frozen semen I saved from L. A. Baltic Sun and L. A. Baltic Inspiration, was the icing on the cake. I brought many fond memories with me as i returned to judge where so many of my horses won championships in the past and i am leaving with many more! Thanks to all, including the most hospitable staff possible.

So fun for me to see the legacy of Los Alamos Dressage Center still alive and vibrant at Dressage at Devon this year with offspring of L.A. Baltic Sun and L.A. Baltic Inspiration sired through frozen semen. So many memories!

Dressage At Devon, the largest breed show in the USA, brings back so many fond memories. From exhibiting horses for many years to judging this year. Fellow judge, Robin Birk, and I catch a break here and get to observe many very nice horses from the judge’s lounge.

Huge congratulations to Ava Johnson and her Danish WB, Hoj's Danser, for earning the USDF Bronze medal in Santa Barbara this weekend. Although it was the first time Ava ever showed at Third Level (3-3) and she went off course twice, the pair still racked up a 66.875% in her very first test under Dinah Babcock, winning the Jr/YR division and tying for first place among all competitors - amateur, open and jr/yr. Very proud of this young lady who has worked very hard not only at dressage but also with learning to control her excitement and the tension that goes with it. Carrots to "Danser" for almost always keeping his cool and doing his best.
