Lazy Horse Brewing & Winery is a Nebraska vineyard, winery and brewery. We have a relaxing tasting room with a large outdoor porch where guests can enjoy catching up with friends and family while looking out over the vineyard. Past the vineyard, guests will see the LH horses grazing in the pasture. Nebraska made wine along with hand crafted beer is served with wood fired pizza. Guests can watch as pizzas are made in the wood fired oven located in the tasting room.

Behind every brewery is a lot of hard work... and sometimes the best help comes in a small package.

Today I had my favorite little helper lending a hand around the brewery. From pushing map pins, to making sure everything was just right, he took his job very seriously. The smiles, the questions, and the extra "supervision" made the workday a whole lot better.

Of course, every good employee deserves to be paid, and around here today's wages were paid in fruit snacks. I'd say judging by that smile, he's pretty happy with the compensation package. 😄

These are the moments that remind us what it's all about—family, memories, and building something together one day at a time.

Thanks for all your hard work today, buddy. I couldn't have done it without you! ❤️

🍻 Behind the Scenes at the Brewery 🍻

Not every day in the brewery is glamorous!

Sometimes brewing means dealing with overflowing foam, sticky floors, and a little unexpected excitement. Today's reminder that beer has a mind of its own—and sometimes it likes to make a grand escape! 😅

The good news? A little cleanup, and we'll be right back at it. That's all part of the craft and passion that goes into every pint we serve.

Next time you raise a glass at Lazy Horse, know there's plenty happening behind the scenes to bring that beer from tank to tap. Cheers to the messy moments that make the best stories! 🍺🐴

I promised to keep you updated on what Julie and I were doing and I’ve kinda failed at that.

We are very focused on the South Dakota vacation thing right now.

Wow! It’s been crazy!!! There is no better place than the Black Hills.

The cows are back though. They will be across the road and probably not visible from the brewery for the next month.

To all of the riders, volunteers, coordinators, and everyone involved in putting on this amazing event over the years — thank you for the hard work, dedication, and passion it took to create something so special for this community.

And to everyone who stopped by and supported the Lazy Horse this weekend — whether you grabbed a drink, shared a meal, cheered on riders, or simply spent time with us — we truly appreciate you.

Events like this bring people together in the best way, and we’re grateful to have been part of such a memorable final Gravel Grind weekend.

The whole space feels even more inviting for summer nights, drinks on the patio, and weekends at the brewery 🍻☀️

A huge shoutout and THANK YOU to All Around Landscaping for all the hard work and vision they brought to this project. The attention to detail and craftsmanship truly transformed the space and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

We want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us at Lazy Horse for Mother’s Day. Seeing families gathered around the table, sharing meals, laughter, and time together made for such a special weekend. We truly appreciate all of your support 💛

Now… onto the next adventure — the FINAL Lazy Horse Gravel Grind! 🚴🍻

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the entire Lazy Horse Gravel Grind team for all of their hard work and dedication over the years in putting together such an incredible event for our community. The time, effort, and passion behind this ride has meant so much, and we’re honored to be part of it one last time.

📍 Gravel Grind Schedule:
• Registration Friday from 4 PM – 10 PM
• Riders hit the road bright and early Saturday morning
• Lazy Horse doors open to everyone at NOON on Saturday

We’ll be serving our full food and drink menu all day long 🍕🍺🍷

And yes — we want everyone to know that Lazy Horse will be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC during the event, so whether you’re riding, cheering riders on, or just stopping in for a great meal and drinks, we’d love to see you!
