George is headed to his new home Wednesday with lovely people!!!!! Thank you so much to everyone who shared his posts, for sending messages about him and to people you may know, and coming together as a pet community to find this beautiful boy a loving family. Because of you he's going home!!!! Thank you thank you thank you 🙏

Edit: Update! I just had someone reach out that's willing to give him a try! So excited for him!!! I hope it works out as he will have a lovely home if so. I will post an update of how it goes!!!! Thanks so much for all the shares. The power of Facebook! It got him noticed!!! ❤️

Trying this one more time before I have to pass the reins to someone else. No one has been able to give George our homeless Husky whose owner passed away a new home. The last two weeks of June and the first two weeks of July I'm booked solid at the kennel and won't have room for him anymore. Praying someone sees this and can give him a loving home. Unfortunately Huskys aren't easy to place as they need a lot. If anyone knows of anyone looking, please please please share this post with them. George is a loving nice dog. Playful, friendly. Goes out with the others in daycare group. Can be calm when inside. Does tend to chase smaller animals who run from him but not with any sort of harm intent. He must go somewhere with a fenced in yard as he does like to run off. Or someone who plans on walking him a lot. Please help? Husky on the right hand side in the first photo. Not asking anything for him just a nice place to go. He comes with his collar, leash, bowls and a large bag of food. I'll also bathe him if someone could give him a chance!!!

Boarding and daycare pups :)..... Plus I added a few at the end of the baby chicks hatching from our own birds in the incubator! Also my new lodge mascot "Big Daddy" the bearded Dragon 🐲

Hello folks! I now have a much easier way to get boarding/daycare intake forms to people. This format allows you to fill information out online and send it back to me. No more having to print papers out and whatnot! I can easily pull up information on your dog through an app when I need it instead of searching through a filing cabinet for papers. Easier for both the client and me :) I will attach the link and pin it to Facebook for easy access at the bottom of this post!

I also wanted to put up some information on questions I frequently get asked. I am open every day of the week from 7a-8p, you're welcome to drop off and pick up whenever you'd like in that time frame. Both boarding and daycare.

As for what to bring with them I can provide everything they will need! All I need is the dog and whatever they eat. Please label your dogs food bag also! Each room has a cot and as many blankets as your dog would like. If you want to bring your own bowls please label them as they all look alike! You may bring your own bed and toys but sometimes toys get lost/taken by neighbor/brought outside and dirty. So toys are a "bring at your own risk" thing. Labeling as many of your items as you can is the best way to not lose anything.

I do require up to date Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations. Copies can be sent via email or printed. Just an FYI even if your dog has Bordetella vaccination please be aware they can still develop a case of "Kennel Cough." Much like the flu shot for humans. Its recommended but still possible to get sick.

Payment is collected at the end of the stay. I do not require any deposit to hold your spot. Cancellations happen, please give me a heads up if you plan on cancelling so I can fill the spot with someone else. Forms of payment can be check, cash, or Venmo. I'm sorry, I do not have a card reader.

We don't offer grooming, however we do bathing and nail trims. 20/dog/bath -25 if nails are included. Everyone gets their own Wilsons Dog Lodge bandana as well :)

And lastly, please if you can message me on Facebook messenger about boarding requests instead of calling that would be greatly appreciated and I can get to you much faster this way! I'm not always near my books to give answers to folks when they call and I also like to have a paper trail of what people say and have something to refer back to if need be. Email works well also. PSA.... To my daycare regulars and any morning drop offs tomorrow!!! I will be leaving the kennel from 8a-12p to go retrieve a time sensitive package. If you need to drop your pup off for daycare please do so between 7-8am or after noon when I'll be back. Thanks!!!! 😎💙

I'm reaching out for a customer of mines son. She has been diagnosed with cancer and is terminal. Her son who lives elsewhere has asked me for help finding him somewhere to go as she can no longer care for the dog. I unfortunately do not have the room to help. He is a Husky who is very active, playful and likes being outdoors. Sweet personality and is good with other dogs and people. He would need a secure backyard, as a typical husky he likes to run if let loose. Otherwise he is a lovely gentleman. If anyone is interested please let me know! He is currently with me at the kennel until we find somewhere for him. I'm praying it doesn't have to be the SPCA..... He is the one on the right hand side in the first photo. Thank you!
