We are a family-owned and operated breeder/dog trainers, dedicated to producing top notch German Shorthair Pointer puppies.

We take pride in our breeding program and strive to make sure our puppies go to loving and caring homes. Welcome to Faithful Point Kennels owned and operated by Dave & Maggie Plahn, Nick, & Hanna Wassenaar. We also run a training program, "Auggie's Golden Point Training". Faith, Family, & of course pointing dogs are what we are most passionate about. God has blessed us with a talent and we have be

Mia was gifted to Nick by Maggie and Dave for his 18th birthday.

A message from Nick:

Mia was more than just a dog. She was family.
She stood by Hanna and me through every move (8 to be exact), every milestone, and every late night with newborns. She welcomed all three of our kids home like they were her own. She was a steady presence as we at FPK built our business, greeting hundreds of client dogs and puppies — always gentle, always patient.

She taught me what loyalty, grace, and purpose look like. And though our hearts ache, we know her legacy lives on in every dog we train, every pup we raise, and every family we serve. She, along with Auggie, inspired the name Auggies ‘Golden’ Point Training.

Hanna and I don’t know a life together without Mia in it. But we’re so grateful for the life we had with her.
