🐾 Doggy Tip of the Day 🐶
You don’t always need a 3-mile power walk to wear your dog out.
Switch it up.
Turn the opposite way.
Let them pick the turns.
Slow it down.
Let them sniff EVERYTHING.
That mailbox? Important.
That bush? Critical.
That random patch of grass? National security level.
Sniffing is their version of scrolling the news, checking texts, and reading emails all at once. It works their brain way more than speed-walking ever will.
“Go explore!” and give them a little leash slack. Watch how happy they get when they feel like they’re in charge for a minute.
Ten minutes of a “sniffari” can equal a long walk.
Mental workout = calmer pup at home.
No mercy on boredom. 🐾

Fun fact: Dogs actually respond faster and more enthusiastically to names that end in a long “ee” sound (often spelled with Y or ie). That high-pitched ending grabs their attention and sounds more positive and playful to them—kind of like a built-in “good vibes only” signal.
That’s why names like Bailey, Milo, Sadie, Rosie, Teddy, Ollie tend to get quicker tail wags and head tilts than flatter-sounding names.
Basically:
Short + happy + “eee” sound = maximum dog zoomies 🐾😄
