*LONG POST FOR A LONG WEEKEND ❣️

Our first 3-day event in the books! Thank you Community Markets & Events for providing the opportunity to meet new pups and their humans who were awesome! 🐕Thank-you for an incredible entertainment line-up that kept the energy live!🎶 Thank you for finding blueberries in a flash to enjoy when an obstruction haulted the planned load. 🫐 Thank you for for letting me learn a few valuable lessons I can laugh about now but was all freaked out about at the time!

The weather was awesome all weekend....until it wasn't. After 4.5 years of vending, I knoooooowwww better than to send my walls home in the first load of "stuff I won't need anymore" which, in fact, I did on Sunday morning. 😬 Without even checking the weather. And if course we got blasted with big rain!! 🌧😃 But boy did we need it. So I adapted and did my best to keep our booth and product dry. And then...the FLIES! OMG, the flies from the entire county took shelter...IN MY TENT!! And then they realized I had all the body parts they wanted to luxuriate in! I. WAS. MORTIFIED! Duck heads to Ostrich tendons, we got the goods but the flies found out!

Now, I take pride in our open bakery set up so everyone can really see and feel what they're getting. It's important for good pup health. But man, I kept having to swat and wave away tons of flies and lovebugs after the rains. Swarms of them really! But ya know what Hernando Blueberry Festival visitors...you came anyway! Lots of you. A few of you squshed your faces up and stayed away (can't say I blame you), but a customer said something to really change my mindset. She told me "oh hun, that just means you have REAL food. Fresh, natural products." And she was right! They knew I could not possibly control them and I regained a bit of confidence bcz I know we have the BEST options for tasty treats and great health!
Just like I tell all newer vendors, you can ALWAYS learn something from EVERY event that will make you better. I had a great weekend, rain and all! Thank you Cheryl Taylor and Team! 🤩

Last night was a beautiful peaceful evening with a light breeze to set up for the ! But it's not gonna stay that way! The energy is gonna be LIVE and the community will be rockin' all weekend long! Come see us in the main area with your pups, piggies, kitties, whatever 4 leggeds love a day out with you!
Just look for the big ol' red and white canopy for all snacks and chews your pups need! Our preliminary set up is representing until we arrive Friday with all the "goods". Can't attract too much wildlife before we get there bcz as many of you know, we have ALL the parts...feet, fur, beaks, trachea, heads, aaaaand Blueberry treats! 🫐 😋

Here we are again wrapping up another year at 8 Paws Approved and we could not be more thrilled to have met all the four-leggeds this year, embraced the tail-wags, excitement, licks and woofs from our loyal returning furry friends as we celebrate our 4-year market anniversary this month (4.5-year business birthday).
We are forever grateful and thankful to all our community of patrons, long-time customers, vendor family, awesome coordinators who provide market opportunities and store front locations. YOU are why we have been successful and grown year after year! I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting you, having insightful interactions regarding pet nutrition, providing the most premium treats in Tampa Bay and mostly meeting your furry best friends where we partner together to provide them something matching your pets’ needs and they go crazy for!
Looking forward to 2026 where we strive to bring you only the healthiest, most fun variety of beneficial treats. We have so many new ideas brewing but will be sure to keep the favorites in stock as well. While we gear up for all the great markets and refreshing our store displays, we will be taking an energizing refreshing reset for January away from markets to get all the work done so we can come roaring back to February markets ready to see all of you again and meet all the new pups that might have become part of your family!! Otis (the particular old man) and Brinley (the middle-aged feisty girl) are super busy trying new flavors and textures that will be featured at our tables and they can’t wait to share their favorites. In the meantime, we will keep the stores (Market in the Mall in Countryside mall and MADE Artisan Hall in New Port Richey) stocked with supply. If you need something we carry and can’t find it at the store, feel free to reach out and we can help you out.
