BCD training is focusing on privates and semi private lessons now. Most akc and other competitions have decreased. We still have scent detection classes and workshops.

Jamie Bozzi teaches Scent Detection on Fridays.

I teach agility, obedience and work with behavior problems on a private basis. For young puppies without their vaccinations completed, I often go to the home.

We are smoke free here and our ranch is a major evacuation center for San Diego County.

Our Story

Beach City Dogs is now a boarding facility in the beautiful rural community of South Morro Hills, in Oceanside. Beautiful views, ocean breezes give this property a very special feeling. "Doggie Dude Ranch" is our boarding. We have outdoor and indoor boarding as well, but most dogs want to be outdoors. The smallest kennels are 6 x 8' with a roof and open to a much larger area to exercise and run. We like owners to bring their dogs to see the place and the dogs are happy to come back. The property is 25 acres, completely fenced with the kennel area right by the main house. We overlook the beautiful Arrowood Golf Course. The dogs enjoy having the farm animals and horses around them. Amenities include special feeding, supplementing, exercise and training if desired by owner. Leash walks, playing ball or frisbee can also be included in the boarding package. Beach City Dogs offers full board and training, classes, private or semi private training and workshops in scent detection, barn hunt, agility and more. We will be offering sheep herding starting this summer. Our training field (120 x 200 ft) is open for rental for parties, seminars, trials, etc. We also offer an indoor horse arena for dog events. We'd love to meet you, give you a tour and let your dog get a preview. Appointments need to be scheduled, no drop ins.
