Can one dog “train” or “fix” another dog with obedience problems or behavioral issues? The simple answer is NO.

Dogs can absolutely learn from each other - both good and bad behaviors. But adding another dog often adds more complexity, more relationships, and sometimes even more stress to the environment. In many cases, dogs can even hinder one another’s growth. 😕

Although a well-balanced dog can help influence another dog positively - training, confidence, structure, and clear communication need to come from the HANDLER.

Which is why my approach is so handler-focused. 🙌 Let me teach you the skills you need to succeed with each individual dog in front of you.

Belka (4) and Laika (5) are here for their very first Board & Train Program! Their owners started private training sessions with Coach Ariel in 2025. Their family had a baby on the way and they were determined to get the girls in tip top shape so they could be the best big sisters they could be. 👶🏼

It wasn’t their first time learning about dog training, Laika worked with a trainer before. Belka, who was brought home as a puppy, when Laika was 1, had her own unique challenges. Before we met, both girls also ran Flyball! 🤩

Since day 1, their owners were committed to learning more about how to be the best double-Aussie owners. They started with Canine Coach Private Training Sessions (owner education focused) and then scheduled them for their very own Dog Days Out for extra 1:1 training for their unique needs.

When Baby F was born, these girls were the BEST big sisters! 😍 Their owners have continued their progress, scheduling them for additional private sessions, DDO’s and now a 1 week Board & Train while they travel back home to 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 with Baby F.

We are all working together to make sure they continue being a healthy, and helpful part of the family. 🥰

Excited to have these two intelligent, high-drive girls for a week long Board & Train this month 😍

Their mum and dad planned well ahead of time to make sure these girls are in “school” with their trainer while they visit family back home in the UK.

These two purebred Australian Shepherd’s are already Canine Coach team dogs, have knowledgeable handlers at home, and know the drill after doing multiple Dogs Days Out with Coach Ariel. Tune into our stories and posts during their stay starting May 21st to see them in action and learn more about our training agenda. 📒

Titan and I couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather for his 4-Hour Dogs Day Out. ☀️ He went on a long hike, working on manners and healthy exposure along the way. We summited and still had time to relax (with a greenie) 😋
