Max enjoyed being a spectator at our last horse show and is sad to announce the one scheduled for this Saturday, June 20, has been cancelled.

Our updated Barn Buddies schedule is now available at SignUpGenius and starting this weekend, we look forward to seeing our volunteers from 6:00-8:00AM and 4:30-6:00PM through Saturday, September 5 (Sunday lessons continue through June 28). Grooming Gang moves to 9:00-11:00AM on Saturdays from July 11 through September 5.

Interested in joining us? Our next Volunteer Orientation is Saturday, August 1, from 1:00-2:30PM. Visit the Equestrian Volunteers website for more information! 🐴💚

Ready to throw on some red, white, & blue, your favorite boots and hat, practice a big wave, and an even bigger smile? 🤠 Because we are participating in the City of Oceanside’s 30th Annual Independence Parade on Saturday, June 27! Come celebrate the 138th anniversary of the city’s incorporation (July 3, 1888) along Coast Highway and then stay for the America 250 festivities at the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheatre. 💚🐴🇺🇸

We have dealt with two fires this week that are far too close for comfort and are very grateful for the quick action and frequent updates from our local police and fire departments, as well as Cal Fire and Camp Pendleton. We continue to monitor the November Fire and hope everyone is safe and can return home soon.

As we move into the hotter and drier months of the year, we continue to be diligent with our fire preparations and safety trainings. If there is ever a need to evacuate horses in an event of this kind, please know we are here to support our fellow equestrian community in North County and can be reached at our main office number. 🐴💚

🌺🌞 Our May show was a rousing success and we are already planning for our second one! Current riders should talk to their instructors about how to sign up and participate. 🤠

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS to Kim Prince who was recently honored by the North County Philanthropy Council as our Volunteer of the Year! 🎉

Kim joined us 11 years ago with her daughter and never left! She has volunteered over 1,353 hours, serving as a mentor, managing the store during events, supporting orientation, and showing up every Saturday to be a horse leader or side walker. We all rely on Kim to get Klaus moving in the morning! 😄

Beyond her many contributions, Kim brings warmth and positivity to everything she does. She is bright, kind, patient, dependable, and incredibly helpful. We are deeply grateful for the impact she continues to make at the Ranch. 🐴💚 Be sure to introduce yourself and give her a shout out when you see her!
