Final FB post for this page, its with a heavy heart that I share our beloved dog Ernie succumbed to his battle with cancer December 5, 2025. He lived a good, eventful 10 years that was filled with everything dogs enjoy doing! We have owned many pets in my lifetime but Ernie was the best of them all! Everyone was a friend in his eyes. He had the best disposition of any pet we have ever owned. You could touch his paws, take food from his mouth and he never once growled or snapped. If you visited our home you were greeted with a wagging tail before he would run off to bring you one of his toys as a welcoming gift. When a toy wasn't available he'd bring the cat's bed, a sock or whatever else he could find. He loved rides in the jeep, playing in the surf at the beach, swimming in the pool, barking at birds, lights on the ceiling, golf carts and the trash truck.He slept in our bed or in bed with Savannah every night and was more of a family member than a pet. He was the best dog ever and will be dearly missed.
