🐾 Big news for cat owners! 🐾
All cat surgeries are discounted for the month of September!

Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Fix The Future campaign, in partnership with Jackson County Animal Shelter and the Feral Feline Coalition of Ocean Springs, cat spays and neuters for Jackson County residents are just $25 during September—and that includes the rabies + FVRCP vaccines!

We’re also grateful to have received additional funding through the C.A.R.E. Grant, which means non–Jackson County residents can spay/neuter their cats for only $30 (vaccines not included, but a rabies vaccine is required if not current).

✨ What you need to know:
• Book online at snipms.com (discounts applied after booking).
• Cats must be at least 3 months old and 3 lbs.
• For non–Jackson County residents, enter “CARE Grant” in the notes when booking.
• Rabies vaccines are $12 with CARE Grant if not already up to date. Other services are optional.

We desperately need donations of pillowcases and/or hand towels! We are seeing 50-70+ cats daily for surgery and our laundry stockpile is not keeping up. If you have old pillowcases or hand towels that need a new home, we will gladly put them to use!

Drop off Tuesday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 7350 MS 57 Unit J, Vancleave MS.

We are in desperate need of newspapers! With us getting 40-60+ ferals a day on top our scheduled surgeries, the need for papers is greater than ever. If you have any old newspapers lying around or a connection with a place we can get some, we are all ears 👂👂👂!!

You can drop your newspapers off Tuesday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 7350 MS 57 Unit J Vancleave MS 39565.

Last year, we were surprised and VERY honored when the Witches Ride of Ocean Springs presented us with a check 🥰 after we were nominated, which we divided among our charitable funds (the Helene Hicks Fund and the Ginnie Lucas Giving Heart Fund) to be able to help even more pets and people in our community.

Reminder that public/pet cat neuters are currently only $30 thanks to the CARE Grant! We are optimistic that this generous grant fund will be replenished but in the meantime, please don’t delay securing your discount!

This is open to everyone, no restrictions. Your cat just has to be 3 months old and weigh 3 pounds. A rabies vaccine is required at the time of surgery if he isn’t already up to date (cost of $12). All other services are optional, and you can take a look at everything we offer on our website, snipms.com.

All appointments are booked through the website, and the discount is applied after booking. Please spread the word so that everyone that could use this help will know about it!

KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND!

The 4th of July is one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, times for pets to get lost. Seeing all the lost pet posts after the fireworks is so heartbreaking! Keep your pets inside and safe this 4th of July (the whole weekend)!

Make sure your pets have ID tags on in case they do get lost, and make sure their microchip information is up to date.

🗓️ New 3 day schedule starts next week! We’ll be open Tuesday through Thursday.
😺 Starting next week, we’ll take ferals for surgery on Tuesday and Wednesday only, with a new limit of 3 per day! All other feral policies remain the same and can be found on the FAQ page of our website, snipms.com.

A quick summary of our current special pricing:
*FERAL CATS* Currently $25 (including rabies and FVRCP vaccines) thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation. Funding is expected to continue for the foreseeable future. Normal price is $40 and includes rabies vaccine only. As always for ferals, ear tip is mandatory, no appointment needed.
*PET/OWNED MALE CATS* Currently $30 thanks to the C.A.R.E. Grant, funding is limited, first come first serve, no limitations. Book online at snipms.com, put “CARE Grant” in notes section. Normal price is $50.

We don’t currently have grant funding for pet/owned female cats so they are the usual $50.

We have a VERY important announcement, PLEASE SHARE!

In addition to being closed on July 3rd (and not taking ferals on July 2nd), we are changing our days of operation!

🔹Effective July 7th, we will no longer be open on Mondays.
🔹Feral intake will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only, with a NEW LIMIT of 3 per day.

Other feral policies and procedures will remain the same!
- Each cat must be in an individual, appropriately sized trap or hard shell carrier. NO SOFT CARRIERS!
- Drop off is between 7 and 8 a.m. and pick up is the following day at 8:30 a.m.
- The current cost is $25, which includes the rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and a mandatory ear tip.

Always check our page before trapping, we will always post closures or days we aren’t able to accept ferals.

Our schedule change will not impact our surgery numbers! We are dedicated to serving the community in the same capacity as always, if not greater!

The C.A.R.E. grant is still available for all clients on government assistance, and has been expanded to include male cats, with no restrictions!
