Missing My Cat. 💔 His name is Theo and he's been missing since late Monday night. Please keep an eye out for him, but he might run if you try and approach him. The fastest method to reaching me is by text at 425.260.0309. Klipsan Area off of 225th East and Pacific Hwy. If you live in the klipsan beach area please check your sheds, garages, and under your decks. He has a tiny meow so you might not hear him. Please constructive or positive comments only. Thank you."

Scruffy to Fluffy is closed. We are no longer residing at the Ocean Park address.

I have endured relentless bullying at the hands of adults who should know better. Often times, bullies have more than one victim, though it may sometimes feel like you are alone at times. Adult bullies will utilize their employees, coworkers, friends, and strangers in their attacks.

I would like to take a moment to talk about what Adult Bullying looks like, and how you can help defuse them.

Adult bullying is often more subtle, and therefore more insidious. It can be cushioned in niceties that make it harder to address and have it be acknowledged. There is often a passive aggressive, sophisticated and covert edge to adult bullying. But it definitely happens.

It happens in the workplace, in schools, when there is a power dynamic. It happens on social media, and here on Facebook.

With bullying- there is often an individual at the helm and then “secondary bullying” which is when bystanders either see what’s happening and participate or are complicit by not saying anything.

I am referring clients to Hammond Kennels for grooming, Brian and Melissa.

They are both excellent choices, both wonderful with animals. I have known Melissa for 9 years, she is a beautiful, kind, creative, caring and loving person. Animals and people adore her. She is also an artist and musician. She paints and sells her creations, and is a Flautist in the North Oregon Coast Symphony, and the Columbia River Symphony.

There is a good chance she may sing for your pets just as I have. :)

Dear clients,

It is with much sadness that I inform you that, due to personal health reasons I will no longer be grooming.

This was not an easy decision for me, and I will miss all your pups greatly. Thank you for supporting my small business throughout the years. I'm happy to provide groomer recommendations if needed.

Best wishes,

Tina

Happy Valentine's Day to you and your furry pets!

Roses are red, violets are blue… as you celebrate Valentine’s Day, make it safe for your furry friends, too!

Reminder:
Beware of xylitol, a sugar substitute found in candy, gum, and baked goods that is toxic to pets. If you have cats, avoid lilies, and be careful with decorations like balloons, ribbons, and candles.

If you love dogs, you might be concerned about the mysterious dog respiratory illness spreading. I have spoken to our local veterinarian clinics, and there have been no local cases on record.

However, they are recommending we cut back on social outings, dog parks, walking groups, and kennels. We are doing the same. Here is a little more about the illness.

Dogs in at least seven states have been infected. Symptoms include coughing, fever, lethargy and intermittent loss of appetite.
