On July 25, 2020 I attend Sunshine State Open Pleasure show with Annie and Sapphire Jewel. It was a great show with wonderful people. Annie Stratton Floramo being a para-rider was planning to do the adult lead line class. Jewel, the 23 year old unicorn, decided to remember her barrel racing days from 15 years ago. Annie showed her true cowgirl abilities then safely stepped off. Since Jewel was now a fire breathing dragon, we did some schooling. Next, Jewel and I did the In Hand Trail class, scoring a 62 out of 70. Our final class was Dressage Suitability W/T. Jewel had great implosion, scoring a nice 3rd place ribbon. All in all, it was a fun day with a learning curve.

Super proud of this young lady. Miss Lexi riding her horse Jack by herself. She has been taking lesson for a year, becoming a great little woman. She hasn’t had the privilege of riding schooled horses while learning, but in turn has learn a great seat. This is her third ride on Jack.

2009 AQHA 14.3hh palomino gelding. Started reining but moved on to be a drill and parade horse. Ridden by kids. Can be barn sour. Not spooky. More whoa than go. Great whoa from a lope. UTD. If interested Pm other details or feel free to call.

Wednesday are High Springs days for SLN Equine. Bay roan filly 4th go under saddle. Still some spots available High Springs and surrounding area.

Congratulations to Mrs. Mimi Leggett for completing her second Century Ride on Sunday. Her horse Ram and her have a combine age of 100 years old. She did her first Century Ride on Reynolds when he was 32 years old.

May 31st was a busy day for SLN Equine. Great lessons including Debbie getting ride her horse for the first in a long time. Cody did wonderful. Last horse of the day was a cute little filly getting ready for her first rides.

Congradulations again to Mrs. Leggett for her year end awards from STRIDE. Western Dressage Level 1 Amature and Versatility. Great job Ram!
