I’m running out the door but I wanted to show you these adorable pumpkin pie cookies.

Have a wonderful day and do something nice for someone if you can!

I’m taking a box of cookies to the post office for our local shelter. I’m not allowed to go there in person anymore because I’m likely to come home with a couple cats and dogs. 🤷🏻‍♀️ (kidding sort of) 😂

The cookies:
Roasted pumpkin (the candy corn pumpkin)
100% hazelnuts hazelnut butter
Coconut milk
Cinnamon and ginger
Maple Syrup
Oat and buckwheat flour
Apple cider vinegar

Contains:
Tree nuts

Does not contain:
Gluten
Soy
Animal products
Peanuts

In the past week I have seen more people on social media laughing at struggling hungry people than ever in my life. WTH is wrong with people? Even dog people!!! I really thought we were better than this.

It’s a human issue. No one should go hungry period. 💔

The shelters and rescues are going to have a big influx soon when people can’t feed their families and have to surrender their pets. I hope those uncaring laughing dog owners are going to spend extra hours and dollars volunteering to care for the animals since they don’t like people.

I baked these cute drumsticks this morning— I hope your doggies love them. 🍗

I just started Joe Hill’s new tome King Sorrow— it’s 26 hours long! 📚😂🖤

Happy Monday!

The saga of the new oven had a few wrinkles but it’s fine now I think. A couple extra days of no baking but I cranked stuff out this weekend! 💪🏼

All Halloween cookies are in the mail or received— even the ones ordered late. Woohoo— feels great! 🎃

I may put some on sale on Friday like the stores do with candy— we’ll see. Another option is sending the leftovers to the shelter. 🫶🏼

Pumpkin snickerdoodle bats 🍃🍃

The glass door to my oven shattered last night— it was raining shards of glass in my kitchen!! 😳😭

I’m proud of myself for being flexible and making the countertop convection oven work until we can find another (cheap) oven. I don’t mind the little oven but baking in it is a learning curve for sure. 😂

Nothing ever happens when we’re flush does it?

Hey there happy Saturday!!!

I have an announcement:

💥💥Halloween treats are going off the menu sometime in the next few days. I want your dogs to get them before the 31st. I’m working on the orders I have now and will take a few more and then move on to the next thing. 😬💥💥

To be honest they haven’t been as successful this year. I probably started too early or maybe the flavors are too out there, but that’s okay— I had fun with them and I hope you enjoyed the show! 🫶🏼

I have some more traditional flavor ideas for the holidays and of course the old favorites will be back. 🥓🫚🍞🍪 I didn’t know there was a ginger root emoji! 🤣

Also thank you for making the f word cookies a hit!! They make me laugh and smile every time I get another order for them! 😂
