If you’re considering getting a puppy while your baby or little one is still little… do it. 🤍 Is it more work? Absolutely. There are puppy messes, toddler messes, busy days, and moments when it feels like everyone needs you at once. 😂 But watching them grow up together makes every bit of it worth it. They get a best friend woven right into their childhood. Someone to play with, snuggle with, explore with, and make a million little memories beside. Seven weeks with these little loves. 🖤

This week always feels like the “how are we already here?” week. We’re finishing paperwork, packing puppy bags, double-checking all the little details, and getting everyone ready for their big weekend as they head off to their families. In between all of that, we’re soaking up the last few days of puppy breath, wild little zoomies, and sleepy snuggles before the house gets much quieter. We do still have one little black female not spoken for. 🖤

A little appreciation post for the other half of Penny Lane, my sweet husband Randy. 🤍

So much of what people see is the puppies, the dogs, the pictures, and all the fun parts, but behind every bit of Penny Lane is this guy. My biggest supporter, my teammate, my voice of reason when I have approximately 47 ideas happening at once, and the one who somehow always gets roped into making those ideas happen. 😂

He carries more of the behind-the-scenes load than anyone will ever know and supports me through every crazy dream, every hard season, every exciting plan, and everything in between. Penny Lane simply wouldn’t be what it is without him, and truthfully, I couldn’t do any of it without him either. 🤍
